1420 Flagship Whiskey Collection
1420 Special Reserve Spirit: GOLD WINNER SFWSC - 750ml
This hearty whiskey exhibits pepper on the nose, with faint honey undertones. On the palate, the characteristic bite of rye has been softened by the ground oil seed, allowing flavors of pepper and cinnamon-honey to come forward followed by marzipan and dried fruits in the finish.
1420 Single Barrel Whiskey: GOLD WINNER SFWSC - 750ml
The nose on this whiskey is surprisingly light and floral, suggestive of honeysuckle with hints of dried cherry. The palate has expected bourbon cues of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey, but finishes more interestingly with the nutty-flavor of ground oil seed.
1420 Full Proof Whiskey: Double Gold Winner SFWSC - 750ml
Our Full Proof spirit is extraordinarily special. Each cask is carefully selected by Founder Ted Dumbauld to guarantee the highest quality POUR. Our small-batch single cask SPIRIT is uncut, unfiltered, and bottled directly from the barrel at barrel strength.
Straight Bourbon Collection
1420 Harborside Straight Bourbon: SILVER WINNER SFWSC - 750ml
Harborside bourbon is steeped in the maritime tradition of historic South Norwalk Harbor and Islands, home over the years to merchant vessels, rum runners and oysterman alike. Embracing whiskey making traditions of old while “harbor-aged” within New England’s all-season coastal climate by tidal salt waters brings out smooth, full-bodied bourbon with unmistakable sea-side character. 88 proof
1420 Finished at Sea Straight Bourbon: SILVER WINNER SFWSC - 750ml
1420 Finished at Sea bourbon follows in the traditions of pre-prohibition bourbon makers who aged their whiskey on flatboats floating on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Instead of flatboats on rivers, our whiskey is aged and exposed to the elements on fishing vessels plying the waters of the Long Island Sound. The result? A full-bodied bourbon that embodies our maritime environment while embracing the whiskey making traditions of old. 94 proof
